Im thinking of buying a fully loaded to the max aurora m700. is it worth its price? 5000+
here is what im planning to do on it, School work ( office 2003 ) , internet browsing, posting stuff on ebay ( that counts as browsing to me ) . and playing the game of the year World of warcraft and maybe final fantasy XI .
I know that the aurora m7700 can handle that heat, but the price , is price worth that system? or do you reccomend other laptops for me
laptop is AMD
I don't think it's worth it... First off, laptop's don't last nearly as long as desktops. Second, if something breaks, it's hard/expensive to replace. Laptops also don't have near the performace of a desktop, regardless how good their hardware is(everything has to be low voltage and all...)
There are some darn good laptops out there, but I wouldn't pay over $2000 for any laptop, myself...

Can you give a link/specs to the laptop? I am getting calculators when i search on google. Thanks
PS-$5000 for a laptop is a rip. I would build your own, or get an alienware if worst comes to worst.

Dell Dimension XPS M170
All the power you need to do what you have stated, at far less than half the price of the Alienware machine...dont pay the big bucks for the Alienware name, its not worth it.

Battery life=10 mintues on that thing.
That laptop is very good, but is it worth $5000 to you so that you can play WoW? ANd as The_Other_One said, its never going to be as good as a laptop.
