Buffer Overun Detected - HELP!!

I have literally "no idea" when it comes to computer problems. I am trying my hardest but keep getting headaches! I installed Google Earth on my laptop today and it was working fine. All of a sudden this afternoon, it threw up an error message which said - "Buffer Overun detected - Program files/google/google earth..............." Then -" ..........corrupted the programs internal state.."

Now I cannot open Google earth at all. I don't know what to do or where to look.

Can anyone out there help a damsel in distress??!!

Try uninstalling it and then reinstall it. Hopefully it'll clear up your error after that.
