ACER

Are there any other suggestions?
BTW...Pentium M is the same as Centrino rite?
first one is a clear winner, mainly cause of the processor. it will be fine if you do not want to play games n stuff

I second that on the Dell.
I repair notebboks for a living and there is a couple of items you need to be aware of with your new notebook.
the majority of notebooks I see in here , 90% or so , are from improper use or not taking care of. The biggest is the power connector on the back. If you have your power supply plugged in and the notebook is shoved back against a wall or the plug receives a latteral kick or what ever it will break the connector, which means a new mainboard. A few can be soldered back, most break again soon.
The second are cracked screens. I can only imagine a notebbok on a sofa or bed and someone sits down or jumps and the notebook bounces off.
also liquids being spilled into the notebook,,, the most prevellant is milk.
Get a good case to carry your notebook and avoid pushinh on the back of the display on Dells, they are good except for the have very thin plastic on the back LCD case.. do not let that scare you, it is adequate, just not as thick as it should be.

Deffinetly.
And Centrino applies to Pentium M's as well as Core Duo's. But in order to get centrino, you need to have an Intel Pro Wireless card.

Just wait until Omega gets his Dell Laptop and then he can tell you how great it is, with his Core Duo processor.

lol, i hope it's really nice. I read some reviews and people said that it performs very well. According to alot of benchmarks, it performs around the same as an AMD X2 3800+.
