Im thinking of buying this laptop ( ) but i wont be able to live on 256mb ram. What type of ram dose it take so i can upgrade to 1gb?

all i can say atm is....laptop RAM

it'll be ddr, but not dektop sticks, laptop ram has a different pin arrangement.

apj, how do you know its DDR and not DDR2?

Its an HP NX 6110

Pentium M 1.73GHz

It comes with 256mb ram but i want to upgrade to 1Gb

That would be DDR2 memory, most likely DDR2 533.
