I have a Dell Inspiron 5000 I want to down load drivers into it for the CD ROM to function, I have Optononum line cable network and don't know the best way to hook up to my laptop to get on line, There is a phone line plug on the side ,I don't think it will work I tried it, how ever there is a USB port in the back, can I find an adapter from Ethernet to USB to get it to work
the easiest thing to do is get a flash drive and download the drivers on another computer. Then put them on the flash drive and install them on the laptop

yeah, download the drivers with any computer that goes online, copy the files you download to the flash drive, plug the flash drive in to the laptop, copy the file somewhere on the laptop, and run it

Yes they make them. Here's an example of what they look like. There are other companies that make them, I just did a quick google.

I never did this with the flash drive ,can you tell me how to run it ?
