I'm having a slight problem with my laptop at the moment as my PS/2 port does not work with either the keyboard or mouse attached. In addition, only one USB port works. Anyone have any ideas?

We bought it for little money from where I work as it was going in the bin. The person who used to use it is not contactable. I thought it would be a good idea to have a laptop for general surfing.

I'm not really sure, as i'm dealing with a heated feud with my laptop, but I think the ports were misused or somehow were broken. maybe they don't have the drivers needed, did you reformat it or something?

PS/2 ports are usually on at default, so if they don't work, it's broken. Also make sure it's not an S-Video port instead. As for only 1 USB working- if one was enabled, then all of them were, so if only 1 works, then the rest are broken. Sorry, you can always use a multi port USB adapter for that one.
