need help putting a pc mcia card in laptop

Hi guys,i have a compaq armada m700 laptop,unfortunalty it has a USB 1.1 port and i need a usb2.Am i right in thinking that what i buy is a pc mcia usb 2 card which just slots in on the side of my laptop to do this? or is it not as simple?

yes you could do that and it just slides in. its that simple.
