Page Refreshing



Hi,

How to refresh page ASP page after certain seconds. Is there any other way than <META> tag?

You could use JavaScript. If you search the web for JavaScript countdown or similar you will find quite a few examples, but of course they will only work if the user has enable JavaScript.

in ASP there is NO timerelay function for that like the meta tag can do.

I have to refresh page and then user will post new values depending on refreshed values. Using META tag to refresh, if I give small intervel then I am not able to enter new value in text field and if I give large time intervel then it allows wrong data to enter. Do u have any idea how to solve this problem

Why not just use a form that submits back to itself, then the person enetering the data has as long as they want or need.

Sorry Davey, I do agree but was on a bit of a bender last night, got to bed at 5am and my eyes don't usually focus properly till 10:30am so pressed wrong button

lol np, since its you, and you said sorry, i will forgive you , i would say don't let it happen again but a good bender once in a while is a good thing, and your allowed to do silly things lmao , at least your not gunna get arrested for it lmao
