hi there everyone.



i tried fixing up a new ram to my pc not realising tht it does not fit. but then once i on the pc i heard the beep sound and i know something is wrong and quickly offed the pc. then i smelt burnt smell. then i fixed back my old ram and the pc turned on but nothing boots up. only runs of safe mode. but the fan and the dvd rom can still be used but nothing is being loaded. is there any way to rectify the problem?



my friend says tht its a motherboard problem. if its a motherboard problem we need to change the whole motherboard or the problematic part of the motherboard can be fixed? pls advise, thanks in advance.
