Can I get an extra battery for my Acer?

Hi all,



I'm brand spanking new here... And I've searched the forums, but I'm not finding the answer to my question.



I just (as in a few hours ago) purchased an ACER Aspire 3000 from NewEgg.com. The battery life is 1.5 hours (pitiful).



So, I would like to get a spare battery to carry so that I don't go dead right in the middle of a class (Psychology major - LOTS of notes!).



So - here are the specs for the laptop:

Okay - first of all - I'd like to get a batter that lasts longer. Which route should I go?



I'm a little ditzy when it comes to computers. I mean, I can hold my own, but I'm no computer whiz.

You could try one of two routes: 1. Did you look on newegg for spare batt.? 2. Look at ACER.COM?

I did check out ACER.com but found nothing. NewEgg, on the other hand, doesn't have any extra batteries for my specific laptop, but they do have other options. Now, my question is this:



Can I put just any lithium ion batter in? Or does it have to be a 4-cell and/or the same battery that the laptop comes with?
