680i can i use any pci x 16 slot?

can i use any pci16 slot on my mobo?



ive got the 680i but i put a cooler on the southbridge, and now it blocks the first slot.

can i stick my graphics card in pci16 slot 2?



will it work as normal?

I believe the 680i has two PCI-E x16 slots and one x4 (electrical) slot, so you should be fine. Although to make sure refer to your motherboard manual to make sure you don't put it in the PCI-E x16 4x electrical slot.
