I'm contemplating putting a computer into an old car of mine as an experiment. I'm looking for the smallest motherboard ever built, so far the smallest form factor seems to be "mini-itx" but I don't know if there was ever any unusual model built that was smaller.
It doesn't have to be the newest motherboard, cuz it's just an experiment in design and function of a computer in the car for now.
I'm going to have to guess the motherboards used in cell phones. Unless you mean a PC, then one of those 4.5" Sony Vaio's perhaps?

Theres a mainboard in pretty much any electronic device. A digital watch is smaller then cell phones and such.
