choosing a mobo for 45nm


Hey guys,

I'm upgrading my comp (in sig) to an lga 775 mobo and i would like it to be able to run the new 45nm cpu when it arrives , could you please reccommend me a good stable board that doesnt run too hot, Also I'm not an overclocker and id like too keep it under $350 heres what i have been looking at so far.

Are you looking into Crossfire or SLI or just a single card? The P35 DS3R from Gigabyte is a good single carded 45nm Mobo.

either single or crossfire Im trying to stear away from nvidias chipset since they suck (dont hurt me fanboys)

Yeah, nVidia's chipsets aren't doing so hot now that all those 680i people had problems with the driver updates, and instead of fixing them, nVidia puts out another board, this time which can't support 45nm (?).

The DS3R is an Intel chipset, and is a cheap way to support a good card and a 45nm CPU.
