Help Please! On Toshiba p35 motherboard

I was fixing my Toshiba P35 heat sink problem and i had it all fixed exept connecting the monitor to the connector pins i noticed that somehow a pin was bent and without thinking i used my flathead screwdriver to fix totally forgetting that the laptop had the battery in it and it was powered on i saw a spark and i turned it off using the power button when i turned it on i saw nothing on the display when i connected to my tv think the monitor was the problem it showed nothing. I think the motherboards fried but i dont know since the lights work and the fans work but i see nothing on the monitor.

If the motherboard is fried should i replace it or get a new laptop. Any help please thank you.

There are no serviceable fuses on the P35 motherboard, only in the power supply.
