I plan on buying a MSI K9A2 platinum but was wondering if my ram from my dell e521 will work? i have a 1gb of 533mhz stock and 2gb crucial 667mhz
Also which power supply, i plan on getting one of the nvidia 9 series in feb. 08 but i don't want to pay like 100 dollars for a PSU any recomendations?
The 667 RAM will work as long as it's the same number of slots (240 pin connector). It won't run at the speed the board supports, but it will run slower.

Don't know power consumption of new card. Just picked them as ceewi1's PSU Recommendations. These PSU could cope with Single 8800Ultra.

so when i get this new mobo all i have to do is pop out my old one and put the new one in then install drivers correct.....
