is this mobo compatible with my dell parts?

I'm looking for a new mobo and i would like to know if this mobo will be compatible with my dell parts. The only part im changing is the power supply which is going to become a 350 W one isntead of my current stock dell one.

I have 2 256 184 pinn ddr ram sticks, 2.0 ghz cpu. My main concern is that i will be able to put a new heatsink and cpu fan on it because my current dell mobo does not have one.

Well we'll need one more piece of information before an answer can be given: what's the pincount on the chip you've got). To find out, fire up something like CPUz (http://www.cpuid.com) and note the thing in "Package" box. If it says 478 somewhere in there than you'll be fine

I dunno how to say this... stay away from them crappy ass mobos (both of them really but the first one wasnt so bad). You'll regret it from a performance/reliability perspective. I'd look for one for you but I refuse to goto Newegg ever again until they get their load times fixed... for a site busy like that you'd think they'd make it easy for customers to come and find stuff without waiting a week for the damn page to load... enough ranting from me.

Depending on how long you want the mobo to last you (and if you're running a Socket478), you should consider getting a 800Mhz mobo to accomodate future upgrading

(BTW you still didnt answer my question about the pin count)

Ok than I can say your chip will fit As for the low budget, I'd go with the Albatross (only because I've never personally used it) but i'd stay away from the ECS board
