so i downloaded it version 1.3.0 and every time i try to run it it locks up. anyone had this problem before?

I had that problem as well, you need to download the hotfix: http://www.futuremark.com/download/hotfix_oct07/

how's 15929 for a score? i don't have 2 gigs like my sig says, rather 1 gb of pny ram. the 2 gigs should be delived tomorrow.

does that score sound about right?

I think the only people that matters to are those morons over in the Mad Onion forums. Otherwise, the numbers are useless for anything but judging the effects of any upgrades you happen to do on your own machine.

what would you think i'd be getting with that setup? i will change out my 1gb ram with 2gb today when it comes in. the ram i have is pny pc2-5400. i've been told that pny is kind of bottlenecking the rest of the components as it's crappy ram...

could the RAM affect the score?

the 8800gts is a good card though...beats the 3850 in a lot of benchmarks (although not all of them)...
