i made a cd to flash my bios and followed the directions here:http://www.biosflash.com/e/bios-boot-cd.htm and when i go through the steps to start the flash i get a filerom id incorrect message and it wont flash. I am flashing using a cd since i dont have a floppy drive.
Any one have a better method of flashing using a CD.
the only cd ive used is the chipset /flash cd that came with my mobo....tried the same as you useing burned disk didnt work for me..

How do you know you had the extact same motherboard. All he has said is its a Abit board, Abit has made thousands and thousands of motherboards.

Thanks for the replys but i fixed it and updated bios. The problem wasnt the flashing with a cd but when u get to the ms dos instead of tyoing in runme like the directions said on the abit page you have to type the flash utlitity file then the bios file then after you type in /x so it wont check the file rom id and once i did that i flashed the bios and my computers back to life. The only reason i had to flash them was because of a bad overclock and the bios were showing me some wierd stuff, but its all good now.
