overclocking e4600 2.4GHZ

Hi Everyone,

I was thinking of over clocking my e4600 2.4ghz cpu. i was wondering whats the most I will be able to over clock it to and how many fans I would need (and the size of the fans)

Thanks Everyone,

You may need a new CPU fan to maintain temps rather than a bunch of case fans, but it certantly helps. A CPU fan with a nice heatsink, a few heatpipes, and a big fan will get the job done. I might reccomend the ZALMAN CNPS series. Also, having a good thermal paste between the CPU such as Artic Silver 5, helps too. You also need to make sure your case has good heat exhaust. Make sure you have plenty of vents in your case to blow out hot air.

just keep going up in the clock till it crashes
you should be fine, and id say take the side panel off and put a box fan there for some über cooling

Orthos is a nice OC tester.
