PSU fan question

What type of power connectors do extra fans generally take? I plan on adding some to a new rig so i want to ensure my PSU will have enough wires to accommodate all my fans. Thanks

This is a question on case fans. I think they get plugged into the motherboard but i see no information on this sort of thing on specs when looking at mobos online. help...

Most case fans will have either 4 pin molex or the small 3 pin connectors like your talking about that plugs into the motherboard, but some come with both. Depends you can get them either way or like I said with both.

I am looking at motherboard specs and I don't see anywhere about the fan female pieces. Do boards typically only have one slot for a case fan? Do the rest of your additional fans get powered by the PSU? As I look at psu's I don't see specs for fan slots either. Help.

Here is the power supply I am looking at and under specs is says (3) 12V rails, are these for fans? Here is the link, thanks.
