Get it while you can!

For anyone needing a new PSU, this is unbelievably good value - Coolermaster Real Power Pro 850W - $69.95 after $60 rebate. It's a very good quality 850W unit, and currently $200 at newegg!

Good catch! ceewi1 newegg can be high at times on a few things. This is why shopping around a little just happened to see the bargain there like someone caught the FRYs sale on the Antec 900 used here already seeing a 700w OCZ model however. Too late for the build here while someone else should take a good look at it.

I got the 650watt real power pro PSU for $60 at Clubit a bit back, but this one is a killer deal!

The mail in rebate offer is being seen more often lately. The model here also saw one when ordered back in August. That was a bit smaller then seeing the bargain with this deal however. You are looking at 50% at some places off while newegg would see a 33+% drop from their $200 tag there.

Check the rebate out though, if it ends on the 31st...

Didja see the OCZ Gold 2GB CL5 Kit DDR2-800 kit on Newegg for $24.99 with free shipping?

(Now it's outta stock )

If anyone sees any great PSU details (from a reputable vendor ), please post them either in a new thread or in ceewi1's PSU Recommendations and I'll edit them into the list of recommendations - I can't always keep up with everything that's available.

If I spot a second pair of Kingston Hyper X 2x1gb kist of DDR2 800 for that kind of price I probably would end up first in line! Of course that is due to seeing a matched pair of 2gb sized dimms still getting a high price on those.

The problem with any sale is that it goes faster then you could ever use it as a good recommend as far as a sticky. Just the changes seen in makes and models has to be kept up with. There you have to go by individual needs to some extent while catagorizing things.

The advice of starting a new thread on any good deals like the one there is seeing is worth starting a rhread on for those not only needing a new supply but may lack funds for a regular priced model. If you are on a tight budget that chunk of change seen with a rebate makes it possible to get into a good model.

Well, I tend to update the guide every week or so, and it only takes a few seconds to copy/paste in the details of a particular model, so I'm happy to keep it up to date with current specials as well.

Besides, a few of these MIR promos have lasted for weeks or months (e.g. the rebates on the Coolermaster and Silverstone 750Ws).

As long as you can keep up with it on the recommended thread. Another thought would be on a sepaarte specials on supplies thread where any time a rebate or sale was seen it would be constantly updating itself by the next poster rather then constantly editing a sticky.

You mentioned starting a new thread for any other supplies found with specials going. Why not a thread specific for just that left open ended?
