Power supply overheat HELP!!

I'm not sure why my computer's power supply gets really hot after i turned on the computer for a couple hours. It generates really warm heat from the fan and even makes the tower hot. Does anybody know what's causing this or do i need a new power supply?

every power supply gets hot, its a hot peice of equipment, as long as it isnt causing any problems then you dont need to upgrade
