Questionably Stupid Cooling Project

heya guys....i thought of this while i was bundling up to go outside yesterday.....what do you think would happen if i put my case outside in the cold? would it kill any components or would my system just get really cold?

my main concern is condensation, which can be fixed with a simple box of baking soda in the case....or so i think.

Condensation won抰 be a problem unless you have some warm, humid air going to the computer. Otherwise the cold air is already dehumidified (see psychrometrics for more of an explanation). The only things that could pose a problem at very low temperatures are mechanical devices like the hard drives.

No and if you do it i hope your stuff gets rained on, to tech you not to be so stupid, but if you mounted it in an enclosure, it could be quite nice
