What would be the best power supply?

Hi I wonder if you can help? I am doing a course at college to become a it technician there is ALOT of stuff to learn and research and I wondered whether you may be able to help?

Here is one of my questions, I have researched and think I know the answer but I wondered what you all thought?

Also sorry if this is in the wrong section I got confused!

A customer has a Cooler master CACT05UW...

ATX MID TOWER

ATX MICRO ATX COMPATABLE

FORM FACTOR

2 EXTERNAL 5.25 DRIVE BAYS

2 EXTERNAL 3.5 DRIVE BAYS

2 INTERNAL 5.25 DRIVE BAYS

7 EXPANSION SLOTS

USB/FIREWIRE/AUDIO PORTS

The customer would like a power supply compatible with the components in the tower??....

It is my first week at college and I know I shouldnt panic but I need to research what all the words above mean before I can answer the question properly, I thought any ATX power supplies will be OK? what would you say?

You can't answer the question just from that info. You could say get a 250W psu, which would work perfectly fine, but then they tell you there going to have an X2900 graphics card in there. I think you might find you'll have a problem.

Now, it seems a little odd you getting that question with so little info so maybe i've miss interpreted it. If i have please say so.

I think he's after the form factor. Yes, any ATX PSU should work (assuming it can provide sufficient power for the system).
