loose wire in HP pavilion

I picked up an older H P pavilion computer at the thrift shop for my wife. Upon inspection I find there is a loose wire from the power supply. It is small 4 wire plug labeled "P8", wire colors yellow, black, black, and blue. I don'tsee an obvious place to plug it in, suggestions appreciated.

its an extra power cable for another CD/DVD-rom drive or an extra hard drive.
no worries, it'll be fine, just plug 'er in and turn 'er on

It could be a molex as jimkonow mentioned, or other random plugs. There are some plugs that certain computers don't use, or don't even require if they have ports for them. It's simply for extra juice. But regardless, just give it a shot. It shouldn't harm anything.

Here's a bit of info about that connector, it isn't a standard molex: http://pinouts.ru/Power/hp_power_pinout.shtml

That connector wasn't used on too many PCs, just leave it unplugged.
