How much can a 300W Hipro run?

My new power supply I bought was DOA, so now I'm stuck with a Hipro PS until I get a replacement. Will it be able to run a Pentium D, 2 gigs ddr2, two hard drives, a radeon 9200se, and a dvd drive? Should I disconnect certain components?

Oh yeah, I also have the Antec 900 with lots of fans... should I disconnect some of those?

Yeah. I ran an X2 3800, 7600gt, 2gb's RAM, 2 HDD's, etc on a crappy 250w for a week and a half while I waited for the replacement. I could game and everything, no problem. you wouldn't even need to disconnect any fans.

Your video card, at least, doesn't consume too much power. You should be OK with your Hipro, at least for long enough for your RMA to come through. I wouldn't worry about removing the fans - unless you have a very large number of them they won't draw much power at all.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I'll go ahead and use this.
