SATA Cable Trick


I was playing around with cable management today and got this:



Kinda a useful trick because those SATA cables are a little long, plus it looks kinda good. Just wrapped them around a pencil and they stayed like that.

I wouldnt think so, its not like the cables are longer or anything...



Nice, im gonna try it...with my ide?!? (tear) I guess it would work cause i wrapped mine in electrical tape but my ide cables barely reach the drives as it is.

As far as I know it's only 90 degree angles that you're supposed to avoid with SATA cables.

No, the only possible way that would happen is if it had kinks in it, and even then it's unlikely.
