Blue LED Fans

Well, After about 2 hours of research, I plan to mod out my case alittle bit. Im going to but some sick case fans in there to really make it look nice. Im also going to get a fan controller. This all started when I noticed my GPU temps were going over 70C. I have one crappy 92mm case fan. Im going to put a 92mm Blue LED Fan on the back, a 80mm Blue LED Fan at the bottom, and 2 other small fans on the side. I came up with this.

Besides case fans with the new card there you might want a look at 3rd party vpu coolers for the card itself. http://www.newegg.com/Store/SubCateg...me=VGA-Cooling takes a look at Zalman, Artic Cooling, ThermalTake, and others.

The additional case fans will do more for lowering other temps like board, cpu, memory by simply increasing the air flow and drawing cooler air into the case.

Thanks PC-eye

It's all around pretty hot, and I wanted to kinda modded it out. I may get some Led lights in their to make it look really cool. Im probably going to get a vpu cooler like you said.

If you are only getting the fans for the light, not for the airflow, then I'd go with blue cold cathodes instead. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811994001. Much cheaper and a ton brighter. One of these cathodes would make more light than all the LED fans you are putting in your case, plus it's about half the price of one of the fans. I took my old LED fans out once I got the cathodes because they were noisy and I only wanted them for the color.

Along with what tux said.
Youre better off getting a good quiet fan and then buying cathodes rather than trying to kill two birds with one stone with and LED fan.

What case do you have?

Yeah, although looking at those fans, they are pretty quiet. I'm just saying that you could probably get fans with the same airflow and same noise level without the LED for less, but maybe not. Cathodes are a good idea nonetheless because they are so bright.
