Is the Dell Dimension 3000 an ATX?

Is the Dell Dimension 3000 case an ATX? My friend is buying a new mobo and needs to know if its compatible... Thnanks (PS, i know this is off topic, but i would like to know if 512mb DDR2 VRAM is better to have than 256mb DDR3 VRAM (The mem speed of the DDR2 is 1400 and the DDR3 is 1600))
-Thanks

No its not an ATX. It might be a micro atx, but I can't find anything saying what the standard is for the board.

The case is a micro case though.

Your friend would be better off buying a new case anyways, since even the power supply with that case would be worthless for anything new. Just take all of the other components out of it and install them on a new motherboard and case.

I'm not 100% sure about the screw layout and all, but the IO panel is positioned like an ATX board.

As for GPUs, it's quite rare that more RAM is better.

It's Micro ATX and those things are horrible, the hard drive vibrates the whole case and that makes it sound like you have weedeater in your room.

ok, so you suggest getting a micro atx board, or a new case?
