It's decent I think. Not the best, but will do for most rigs.

And no that's not a pci-e power connector. That's just the standard 4-pin motherboard connector.

So it doesn't have a pci-e power connector?

No. It's an old design, and wouldn't be top of my list, although it's still capable of putting out a fair bit of power. What are you looking to power? Are you looking for a modular PSU in particular?

Not really, it was just a good price and it looked cool I'm looking to power a Geforce 8600GTS (or similar). Unfortunately I already ordered the PSU...oh well, I can just use a 4 pin to 6 pin pci-e adapter.

Shoulda got that one...just couldn't justify spending that much on a PSU

Could you tell us if it can handle the 8600GTS. Probably it would... Be just a curiosity.

I'm sure it will have no troubles. My friend was running his 8600GTS on his stock 300W PSU for about a week with no problems

Yes, it's more than sufficient for an 8600GTS.

I would recommend Corsair or hiper psus

Hmmm, I guess I shoulda checked the pins on my motherboard power connector. Are there many motherboards out there with a 20 pin mainboard power connector? Hopefully one with PCI-e and support for a cord 2 duo.
