Its should be fine to run 1 GTS, its output is about 33A. I think ceewi and other recommendations are 26/28a..

Really!? Sweet! So it's above the requirments? It's cheap too, the only bad thing is it isn't modular

Yeah it should run a 8800 with ease, of course you may need a seconed opinion

the 550vx is pretty cheap too.



the vx series has a real combined rail, not 3 rails like the hx modular

The VX550 is not modular either, it's only the HX series that are modular. All are single rail, despite what's printed on the label.



The VX450 is fine for your system with an 8800GTS. The VX550 is a great PSU as well. What's the price difference?
