Hi there, my name is Sarah I am kind of a newbie to the site, I don't really get the chance to come on too very often. Anyway I have been noiceing for a while now that my laptop seems to get overheated quite quickly and since I do go onto gaming site like neopets.com every now and then just to chill out and play games. I have been noticing lately that eventually the graphics on the sites will start lagging like my character does not move as fast as it was before just slower movement.
What is really giving me cause for alarm is I just went on today and played on one online game I have and neopets maybe for a hour tops. And its already starting to lag...the thing that makes that odd is I went on last night and did pretty much the same stuff and the thing lasted fine and I know I was on for at least three to four hours. Is this is a bad sign is could there be a possibility something is getting messed up in the laptop? I really hope not I have only had this for a few months and I have been trying as much as I can to keep it in good condition (my last laptop I did not take such good care of..and its motherboard fried on me) And I would like to try and not damage this one as great as I did that one...lol at least not in less then the first year of owning it.
I have been looking into getting a cooling pad for the lap top and now more then ever I think it would be a good idea. One of my friends at my school whom knows far more about computers then I do suggested I get a cooling pad that can have its fans removed and changed. He said that those things tend not to last very long and ones that can have their fans replaced tend to last longer then others. Please help me out, tell me if there are anythings I should be looking out for as far as internal damage to the Computer that is one of my biggest concerns right now and as well as if the cooling pad is a good idea , and if I can do anything else to help stop these things from happening. All I know of is the cooling pads (which I just recently even had heard of) but who knows there could be more resources out there. I would not know not to knowledgeable when it comes to computers lol so hopeuflly you all can help me out.
