Silicon Memory

I just ordered 4gb of memory for my dell inspiron530 and purchased it from silicon memory. The only reason being that I know jack about computers and all I had to do was select my computer and it found the memory for me. My question is has anyone ever heared of silicon memory and if so is it decent memory?

Silicon had its uptime but you don't hear it very well these days, but i will say its ok for your PC. You can always change if you have problem anyways. Rams brands these days are probably G-Skill, Samsung and Kingston.

what os are you running? Are you sure you can even utilize 4gigs of ram?
