Get the G. Skill. I have that same exact model in my computer it is great ram overclocks good and is very fast and reliable.

I would go with the Patriot memory because it is made in the U.S.A.

i wouldn't know which to pick either. but shouldn't the the patriots be better since it has faster timings?

No it wont make that much of a difference between those timings. And look at the price differnece without rebate the G.Skill is cheaper so the timing differnece wouldnt warrant the price difference and you may not get the rebates back.

Of the 2 links you posted I would take the Patriot. After the $40MIR it's cheaper and better RAM than the GSkill.
