can 2 memory sticks running @ 667mhz be also running with memory sticks @ 1066mhz?

Yes it can, the 1066MHz RAM however, will run at 667MHz. So unless your willing to replace all RAM sticks, it would be cheaper to get the 667MHz RAM.
