Hard Drive Recovery?

Hi, I have a Emachine computer and have attempted to install Solaris on it. The DVD was corrupted and the GUI didn't start. Anyway This is not my problem. My problem is I plugged in the wrong hard drive and deleted well over 400 accounts of invoices. These accounts are backed up on a PC with no internet connection and physically over 1,000 miles away from me. Is there anyway to restore files from the hard drive? I backed up these accounts before and will try to restore the files since they have been deleted before. Please let me know if you can help.

How did they get physically 1,000 miles away from you? You can attempt to recover them with software, like Easy Recovery Pro, but in some cases the data that you recover will be corrupted.

My friend took the cheap PC with the accounts and moved. I should be able to recover the data via a blank CD.(so he can burn the files on a CD)
