hi there
well im thinking of getting the above drive for my c/drive to run vista off however i will also be using my 160gig sata to store my videos and music on.
can you tell me how much of an increase in boot up time and general program speeds will be noticed?
i was thinking of getting a 500gig 7,200rpm 16mb sata drive but that is far to much storage space to warrant spending the money so ive decided to go for speed.
whats the point in space when i will never fill it?

). If you were looking at any higher capacity raptor (74GB or 150GB) then I would say the raptor would be much faster. But since the 'high capacity' drive you've got is only 160GB I would still give the edge to the raptor. I don't think it will be a big margin like with a 74GB model but it should still be noticable.
