I am planning to upgrade my RAM.So which one would be best?Should I just buy another identical 512RAM and make it 1gig in dual channel or should I buy another 1gig of RAM from the same company of same speed and make it 1.5gig.Which one will be faster. What I have heard is dual channel only gives 10% performance boost than normal one.So what should I do?512 or 1gig?Don't tell me to buy 2 gigs coz now I have very limited budget.
You've got a 945 chipset so you could get 1GB and still have a partial dual channel setup. It will be running in assymetric dual channel mode. 1GB will also let you get a 2nd 1GB stick later if you wanted.
Of course that's only if you will need more than 1GB of RAM. If you don't/wont need it then you might as well save a little bit of money and get a 512MB

If I put a 1gig or RAM on any slot and will it automatically set up partial dual channel?Or do I have to install on the same colour?

You have to put it in the other channel. For your board that is the same coloured slot (ie 1/3 and 2/4)

One last question. Will it be ok if I install it(1gig) on the 4th slot.Because my first and second slot is covered by my gfx card.

It should work fine, it just wont be dual channel.

i don't think it will matter anyway. The specs say the memory addresses are stacked in asymmetric mode, so when reading from memory, all access goes to one module instead of being spread between the two
