Ram Question?

This most likely will give ya a good laugh..........but is

266MHz DDR2-533/PC2-4300 the same as 533MHz DDR2-533/PC2-4300?

And can I use different brand of ram to upgrade two empty dimm slots?

Thanks

no, the speed is different, you need to find out which speed (244mhz or 533mhz) your mobo supports. And yes you can use different brands of RAM, although it is not ideal.

Around the same. You system should downclock to the speed needed.

No. The first 533MHz in the second one is a mistake. 266MHz * 2 (becuase it is DDR) = 533MHz. There's nothing in what you have given us that says what size the RAM is. All you can tell is that both run at the same speed.

DDR2 533 runs at 266Mhz, not 533Mhz.
