Quick Question

Hey my friends computer is down, when he restarts he can get into BIOS, but when he starts to load windows vista he sees the progress bar, but it never gets to the log in screen because it all goes black, after that it goes to a blue screen saying that it couldn't load, and that it's initializing for a crash dump.



Any help?

It will say why it could not load.. A specific driver or something... Try safe mode.

Seems like an dead/dying memory problem. See if you can download Memtest and put it on an CD for him.
