Windows on Fat32


What are the pro's and con's of running windows XP on a Fat32 formated partition?

Yeah... It was too early for me to feel like typing, but I too would stick with NTFS. I beleive I've read FAT32 is faster. I'm not sure if it's true or even by how much, but regardless, I'd stick to NTFS. If for anything, just to stay away from the file size limitation...

the reason i was going to use fat32 was because i will be installing windows on a macbook along side OSX. OSX can only read from an NTFS partition but it can both read and write to a fat32 partition

You can get 3rd party drivers to allow OSX to read and write to NTFS if you want/need to read/write to the windows partition.

yeah i know, i will look in to that more when i get the mac
