I haven't been into computers lately, i was wondering what's the price range for DDR2 ram atm?
My friend bought a 1gig DDR2 stick of ram for $110, it seems a bit expensive, did he get ripped off?

what were the specs on the stick he bought (timing, speed, manufacture etc) even tho regardless i think 110 will be a ripoff... like people said a standard is buying two gigs of 800mhz for like 70 bucks... but there is always the more expensive ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...07858&name=1GB

Unless he bought extremely fast ram with very low latencies...he got ripped off, big time.

See the thing here in Australia, That is Standard Price.
Australia Gets The Ducked up end of computing.
We get all the New parts about 8 months after America ect. . .
Our prices are Outrageous.
Unless you bought that in Australia, You Got Ripped off.
