Upgrade RAM

Hello, I am having a look at what it would be like if I were to upgrade the RAM on my current rig (in sig). What kind of RAM would I be able to put ?



The RAM I currently have is PC2700 with a CAS of 2.5-3-3-7

My Mobo is here.



If I read well, the best it could have and use properly is the same thing I already have which is PC2700 (DDR-333), am I right ?

Now let's say DDR-400 is cheaper than DDR-333, what happens if I put that ?



So basicly, what should I put ?

Also, just checking if I understood properly, but it should be 184pin RAM, right ?

Most likely DDR 400 will work but it will just reduce itself to DDR 333 speed, but to be on the safe side i would just buy the DDR 333 for compatibility reasons.

Yes its 184pin, if ddr-400 is cheaper you can buy that it will just run at ddr-333. So yeah you will be fine
