make sure all components are powered by the PSU... check all cable connection
check if the RAM is securely attached

Does it even power on?
If it doesnt look for:
Bad switch
Faulty Power Supply
Faulty motherboard
If powers on with no picture :
Check video card, use onboard if possible.
Check you ram is tight and secure. If it is, wiggle it an bit.
Do you haev the 6pin GFX or 4pin mobo connector in?

well the ram isnt on the asus list and yes all plugs in and vid cards in everything in it might be ram coz its not on the asus list ??????

As I said Asus boards are rather picky. I suggest first RMAing the board just to make sure. If you can refund the RAM and buy an Asus compatiable RAM....

If you can get the compatiable RAM, that would help. As of right now we cannot be sure that RAM is the issue.
