Want to hear a good one? When going to use GParted to replace the disfunctional XP Pro to Vista upgrade when couldn't add XP Pro then reinstalled on a sata after Vista went on the second ide drive I spotted where the XP Home installer had left some 8mb unallocated at the back of the primary ide drive. GParted was used to expand XP there to see that corrected fast.
The 0.3.3.0 version loads the fastest. The newer versions need a mount for the newer "start x" feature for auto configuring the display detection feature. On a live cd and not run off a hard drive? 0.3.3.0 works! Resizing or moving an existing partition still takes time however. Go for a coffee, tea, or a walk or something when that goes to work there.
