hard drive issue

i recently had an "unmountable_boot_volume" error that I fixed. however, went i went back on the pc, i found that my secondary hard drive data wasnt there ( my H: ) but my F: drive data was there perfect (my primary hdd)

i want to try and get my secondary drive data back but every time I double click on it in my computer. it keeps saying, this disk needs to be formatted.

what is bugging me is the h: drive space is only 40gb whereas my secondary drive was 200GB.

please help! i dont want to lose that data

well if a virus got in there, or somehow the information disappeared, or the boot crashed, it WILL need to be partitioned. try to get the info on another computer, or put the HDD in an external inclosure and get the info out, then format it , put it back kand see if that works
