need new RAM


hey i have 512 MB RAM in my comp and i wanna upgrade it to 1 GB but im not sure what RAM is compatible with my mobo so i was hoping you guys could give me a few suggestions my mobos is an ASUSTek A7N8X2.0 lol im not even sure if thats it i ran the CPU-Z program and thats what it says under mainboard then right beside the model it says REV 2.xx i dunno if thats important lol if u need any other info let me know

in CPU-Z go to MEMORY and tell us that..

i wish you could copy and paste it like in dxdiag lol oh well it says TYPE: DDR size: 512MB Channels: single then for timings it says Freq. 199MHz FSBRAM 5:6 CAS latency: 2.5 clocks RAS to CAS delay: 3 clocks RAS Precharge: 3 clocks Cycle Time: 8clocks



and what do you mean a picture of the ram? like pull off my cover and take a picture?

Ver. 2.0 can use DDR 200-266-333 and 400. If your running a FSB of 200 I would get DDR 400.
