If you spend a little more you can get an E6550, a Gigabyte GA-G33M-S2 and an Xclio Goodpower 500W.

i like the e6550 and the xclio idea but what is better about the gigabyte mobo other than that it has ddr2 800 instead of 677...

The gigabyte mobo is better all around IMO..

The Gigabyte natively supports the 1333MHz FSB CPUs such as the E6550, the board you listed won't even run the CPU you also listed at stock because the 945 chipset family have a maximum native FSB of only 800Mhz. Plus it's the new Intel G33T chipset. I would have gone for P35 (more overclockable) but there appear to be no board with this chipset in mATX format.

IMO, MB, change to GIGABYTE GA-G31MX-S2 or GIGABYTE GA-G33M-S2

Not suggest using Asus MB, as lots of people comment Asus MB is hot.

And I agree as PabloTek to get a E6550 for extra $10

RAM can using any of those Cheap DDR2 800 2x1GB

GPU, can also consider HIS Hightech H260XTF256DDN-R Radeon HD 2600XT 256MB or SAPPHIRE 100208L Radeon HD 2600XT 256MB Because ATI support HDCP

PSU: suggest to getting one with Modular Cabling Support like CORSAIR CMPSU-450VX as you use such a small case, although it is a little expensive
