Constant crashes and slower internet

About a week ago I tried installing zone alarm, but it crashed my computer twice. After those crashes I didn't touch my computer until the next day when I installed my new PSU and GPU (8600GT). Ever since then, my computer has constantly been crashing, always giving me this screen http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x...5/DSC02098.jpg

Its been a week since then and it continues to crash every couple of hours. Do you think zone alaram is still the reason why my computer is crashing or is it my newly installed 8600GT? Zone alarm never got fully installed and isn't on my system anymore (at least I think it isn't), but the first time seeing these crashes was when I was trying to install zone alarm. So I am unsure if the problem is because of that one day I tried installing zone alarm or if it was because of my 8600GT. I'm thinking the 8600GT is causing my crashes because I don't see any signs of zone alarm on my PC. If my 8600GT is causing the crashes, how can i fix it? Should I try reinstalling the GPU or should I try downloading new drivers from NVIDIA's website? Or could my 8600GT be defective? Overheating is not the problem

What slot is your GPU and what is your graphic slot on your mobo because if you just shoved it into the wrong slot then you would get the blue screen of death !

Edit: you wont need a new driver to fix that by the way

Mate. You Could not be more WRONG.

Software Can DEFINITLY Cause BSOD's.

Software Can Corrupt Entire Hard Drives.

Drivers CAN crash and BSOD your computer.

Judging by quick View of error, DRIVER_IRQ . . .. . . It Appears too be a driver Issue.

Proof is, I have had the problem with a Leadtek 6200 GPU. Until i updated drivers too latest drivers, My computer was BSOD'ing, Freezing, Beeping, Doing all sorts or Wierd Things.

Firstly, Update your Drivers Too the latest versions.

If that is no good.

Remove GPU, Blow off all dust, Re-seat.

Have you bumped your RAM recently?

Well I updated my 8600GT driver to the latest from NVIDIA's website. So far its doing well (It's only been an hour so it might still crash later). I put the 8600GT in my pci-e x16 so I know that isn't the problem. And no I did not bump my RAM up. It has been untouched since the day I bought it.

Heres a link to my motherboard:

Where can I download updates for my BIOS? I'm still little confused about things related to BIOS so I'm not sure.

Hello Zangetsu (bleach?)

I'm sure my PSU is strong enough. Its a 500W Ultra xfinity PSU. [12v1 16A] [12V2 18A] [384W / 12 = 32A] It was one of ceewi1's top picks (check the PSU section in this forum).

By the way jonny-chip, that link you gave me is for Windows XP pro, while I have Windows Visa Home Premium 32-bit. I'll still read what it says though.

Hi,

Yes it will. But it will also solve this problem. If you don't agree with this, then say so, so we could look for the right solution.
