Hd Problem.

Let me start off by saying hello to everyone, for I am new to this forum and hope I can get some help. That being said, I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. About 3 months ago, I was on my computer normally when I shut it down and went to sleep, I awoke in the morning only to find the computer would not turn on. Hit the power switch, nothing at all. So after some troubleshooting I realized it was the power supply and I replaced it today. The comp fired up no problem and did all of its normal stuff, then, when it loaded my desktop EVERYTHING WAS MISSING and the background was changed to default. Usually I have all my folders, some games etc on my desktop and a custom wallpaper. But now, all I see is "spy bot and ad-ware 6" and that's it. What's really wierd, is when I go to explore the c-drive I go to documents and setting, click my name, click desktop, and I can see everything. Also I noticed, there are two extra user folders that I have never created. My name is anthony, and thats what the folder that has all of my stuff in it, but there are also 2 other user folders called "

anthony.N00B" which I did not create. I wanted to know if there is a way to delete these random user folders, and restore my old computer settings?

Thank you for your help.

you can try "system restore".

It' sounds like you have a virus, If I were you I would just reinstall windows.
But if you don't want to do that than you should do a virus scan, spy-ware scan and run a registry fixer.
